Whispered Word: EA Sports' WRC Projected for a November 3 Release
It now appears to be confirmed that Codemasters' much-anticipated sequel to Dirt Rally 2.0, EA Sports WRC, will launch on November 3 for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Based on the Unreal Engine, the game, initially rumoured for a spring release, will not be named WRC 23, as earlier speculated. This is due to the imminent end of the 2023 WRC season. The official title will simply be EA Sports WRC.
According to recent buzz, purchasers of the Champions Edition can anticipate early access to the game three days before general release, on October 31. It is also speculated that DLC will roll out over the next year in the form of five seasons following the launch.
The game cover, featuring Ott's Ford Puma Rally 1 from the winter setting of Rally Sweden, appears to have been leaked.
