Elon Musk's Tesla Cybertruck will be up for purchase in Fortnite

The Tesla Cybertruck is poised to make its official gaming debut tomorrow in the world of Fortnite. Previously, Elon Musk's pioneering vehicle graced other games through fan-created modifications. The sleek Cybertruck found its way into titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Rocket League, GoldenEye 007, and even Minecraft.

Now, for the first time, the distinctively styled electric truck will become an actual in-game purchase after the internet humorously compared it to graphics from early PlayStation games.Today, Epic Games unveiled a teaser featuring Fortnite's iconic character Fishstick cruising in a Cybertruck while making what appears to be a flirtatious gesture, playfully sending a kiss to the audience.

This preview tips its hat to a promotional Tesla clip showcasing the Cybertruck locked in a power struggle against a Ford 4x4 (In Tesla's original footage, the Cybertruck comes out on top, though Ford contested the outcome and requested another competition).

It's foreseeable that some fans will be thrilled to add this quirky automotive design to their collection in Fortnite, alongside a plethora of other items. Conversely, some might be hesitant to contribute funds to Elon Musk effectively, especially after his vocal support for President Trump's re-election and his promise to finance the campaign with a substantial contribution of $45 million monthly.

In the wake of a rather public debate sparked last month, Marc-Alexis Coté, the director at the helm of the renowned Assassin's Creed series, found himself poised for a moment of profound introspection and contemplation. This period of deliberation was prompted by the pointed and widely disseminated critique voiced by the influential entrepreneur and tech mogul Elon Musk.

Musk's central disputation called into question the director's choice to incorporate the historically significant, though somewhat lesser-known, figure of Yasuke into the eagerly awaited gaming title Assassin's Creed: Shadows. Yasuke's inclusion, marking a milestone in gaming history, presents a stirring narrative of the African samurai who carved his place within feudal Japanese lore.

Coté, in choosing to step back and ponder over the criticism rather than responding in haste, indicated a willingness to engage with the discourse surrounding historical representation in the realm of digital storytelling.

His decision not only embodies a responsible approach to the creative process but also reflects the complexities and importance of bridging historical authenticity with contemporary cultural conversations in a medium as far-reaching and influential as video gaming.
