Nacon Unveils Revolution X Unlimited: The Ultimate Wireless Gamepad for Xbox and PC Gamers

Exciting news is emerging in the gaming industry with the upcoming launch of an innovative controller. Nacon has unveiled the Revolution X Unlimited wireless gamepad, which is compatible not only with Xbox consoles but also with PCs. This latest addition to their lineup is set to debut in the fall of 2024.

The Revolution X Unlimited appears to significantly enhance the previous model, the Nacon Revolution 5 Pro. This new controller boasts advanced features such as drift-resistant Hall effect thumbsticks, a micro-switch D-pad, responsive face buttons, six customizable buttons, and trigger locks. Moreover, it offers versatile connectivity options, including 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and wired connections.

What truly distinguishes the Revolution X Unlimited is its integrated LCD screen located at the center of the controller. This feature is reminiscent of the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra and seems to allow users to switch between personalized button configurations, check battery status, and possibly activate a specialized mode intended for fast-paced games like Fortnite and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, as suggested by the reveal trailer.

Regarding battery performance, Nacon has announced that the controller can operate for up to 10 hours. While this may be shorter than its main competitor, the Stealth Ultra, which can last around 18 hours, it's important to note that the inclusion of an LCD display often impacts battery longevity. Thus, this slightly lower estimate is understandable given the additional technology.

As for the pricing details, Nacon has yet to disclose any information. The previous Revolution 5 Pro was priced at $199.99 / £199.99. Considering that the PS5 controller lacked some of the enhancements found in the Revolution X Unlimited, including the LCD screen and micro-switch technology, it is anticipated that this new controller will sit at a slightly elevated price point.
